Surprising Mrs Rhubarbson is Reena Bhojwani's debut as a children's book author. This is the first in the series: Marble Mangosteen's Good Deed Collection. The story is told from the point of view of the main character, Marble Mangosteen, the monkey, and is about how he and his housemate (Shooz) help their friend (Roxy) plan a surprise for someone special in Treebark Village. It's primarily for 4-8 year-olds, but older reluctant readers should find it just as entertaining.

The story aims to inspire within its readers some good values. Can you guess what some of these values might be? Write to us and let us know.
